The Therapist
Hello, my name is Anne Sharkey, welcome to my website, The Little Healing Garden.
My journey to becoming an holistic therapist started later in life, when I was in my 50s but I believe everything comes to us in perfect divine timing, sometimes life just sends you a bolt out of the blue to wake you up and send you along a different road.
When we experience trauma or severe life stressors it’s not uncommon for lives to unravel. Out of my own personal trauma and stressful experiences my passion for holistic wellbeing was finally born.
I trained first of all as a Usui Reiki Practitioner five years ago. I know that no single approach is right for everyone so wanted to explore other modalities and develop further skills before setting up my therapy practice, The Little Healing Garden. I went on to train in the Indian Head massage and finally the therapy that I personally had a strong calling towards Sound Therapy.
My Little Healing Garden sits on the banks of the White Cart River and along an ancient Ley line. This gives it a wonderful, almost spiritual healing energy that enriches the whole experience for my clients.
I understand first hand how this crazy world we live in can drain your energy and leave you feeling exhausted and out of sync, just looking for a way to just get back to feeling ok again.
