Traditional Thai Foot Massage incorporates elements of acupressure, reflexology and massage to restore balance within the body. This technique works along the energy lines ( Sen, Meridans) of the lower leg and foot to release blockages and restore balance to the internal functions of the whole body, much like the practice of Accupuncture. Traditional Thai Foot Massage can be effective in restoring the energy flow and relieving various dysfunctions and disorders, but also as a deeply relaxing treatment to promote overall health and wellbeing. Traditional Thai Foot massage is received while the client is fully clothed ( from the knee upwards), lying comfortabley on the therapy bed. The treatment takes an hour to complete and is accompanied by gentle relaxing music, allowing the client to completely switch off and relax.
A sound bath is a deeply immersive, full body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative vibrations to nurture your mind, body and spirit.
The sessions begin with the client lying ( fully clothed) in a comfortable position with a blanket, pillow and eye mask. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath the remainder of the session is filled with a variety of sounds, tones and vibrational frequencies being introduced in succession.
The sounds and vibrations are created by a combination of sound emitting instruments including Singing Bowls and various other percussion, string and woodwind instruments to bring about profound relaxation for the client helping to wash away stress, improve sleep quality, enhance mental clarity and restore inner peace and balance.
The sounds invite the client into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to relax and unplug from external stimuli and to absorb the powerful vibrations and subtle energies, removing blockages, releasing stagnant energy and promoting overall wellbeing. Either individual or two person shared sessions are available.
Tuning Fork therapy involves full body vibrational entrainment using specific tuning forks to restore balance and harmony to the body’s energy centres (Chakras). In addition specific Tuning Forks can used for pain relief, stress reduction, insomnia, and to release tension from the physical body.
Treatments are specifically tailored to individual clients needs as discussed at initial consultation.
The treatment is received fully clothed lying on the therapy bed using a combination of weighted and unweighted tuning forks placed directly on the body or above the body.
The tuning forks produce deep penetrating vibrations that restore the natural resonant vibrations in the body’s energy system, addressing energetic imbalances and promoting wellbeing.
Reiki sessions are received while the client is fully clothed, lying on the therapy bed and are accompanied by gentle relaxing music.
Reiki is channeled to the client through light, non-intrusive touch with the practitioner’s hands placed and held on specific series of locations on the head and body that correspond to the Chakras.
The experience of Reiki is individual and quite subtle. Clients often experience heat in the practitioners hands or can feel subtle pulsations or cascading waves of pulsations throughout the body.
Clients often comment how comforting they find the experience of Reiki to be. Some clients fall into a deep sleep or meditative state. Sometimes the experience of Reiki is profound while other times, the first session in particular, may seem uneventful.
Regardless of how it is experienced, Reiki is flowing through the client and because it is Life Force Energy ( Chi) it can only do good. The most common experience is an almost immediate release of stress and the feeling of deep relaxation.
The aim of Indian Head Massage is to release the stress or tension that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck, shoulders, upper back and arms.
The client sits in a chair with their head supported by a cradle while the therapist uses a range of different massage techniques, including deep kneading and compression over the upper back, neck, shoulders, arms and scalp.
The client then relaxes on the therapy bed while the therapist gently stimulates and strokes pressure points on the face.
The experience is deeply relaxing and calming, leaving the client feeling energised, revitalised and better able to focus and concentrate.
